Why Use a Pressure Gauge on Your Pressure Washer?

pressure gauge for pressure washers

A pressure gauge, which attaches to the outlet pump of your pressure washer, will give you important information about the pressure and performance of your unit. (See photo on right.)

By glancing at the circular face/dial on the top of the pressure gauge, you'll be able to monitor the PSI your pump and engine are putting out. This will greatly help you keep an eye on how your pressure washer is functioning. And it will also help you diagnosis any potential water flow problems.

Pressure gauges are really handy to have if you plan on running your pressure washer for any length of time. They can help you trouble-shoot problems before your pump becomes damaged.

And if your gauge wears out or rusts, they are very easy to replace - takes less than a few minutes!
